Cancellation and Return Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

We rarely have cancellations that can't be fully refunded.  Most orders are not started for a few days to a week so that usually gives enough time for the customer to change their mind before we even start production. BlingNBoutique operates with this rule in mind...treat people the way we want to be treated.  Since every situation is different, we really don't want to put rules in place but we do need some guidelines.  So..

For stock purchases typically we will refund 100% of the order.  Just means the next people that order that stock item don't have to wait for it to be made.  YAY!!

For custom purchases made from stock supplies, it will depend on how far down the production line we are.  Haven't started? 100% refund.  All the parts are made but hasn't been put together yet? Probably 50% refund.  Ready to Ship? Refund shipping costs paid but no refund for the purchase...unless maybe this is something that can be added to our store.

For custom purchases made from non-stock supplies.  Again, it will depend on how far down the production line we are as well as whether the items purchased can be returned or maybe become something we stock.  Typically the customer will be responsible for the cost of any non-stock items that we have to purchase for the order and follow the same guidelines as mentioned above.

It's important to BlingNBoutique that we work with our customers to come up with solutions that is fair to everyone. Our main priority is for each customer to become a repeat customer.

 

RETURN POLICY

We have to be honest in that we really don't have that many returns so we try to handle returns on a case by case basis and handle them in the way we would like it to be handled if we were the customer. But we have to have some guidelines, right?  So...

Bow Returns

  • We will gladly accept the return of any items that are not as described within 30 days from the date of purchase. The buyer will be responsible for shipping costs of the returned item(s) and there will be no refund of the shipping charges that the buyer paid at the time of the order. 
  • If we have made an error or if the bow is falling apart, of course we will make it right!  We may ask for a picture of the bow for verification of the issue.  More than likely we will just send a new bow out and not require the "bad" one be returned.
  • Any item that has been customized or personalized can not be returned unless the item is not as we agreed upon.
  • Regarding ponytail holders. What's worse than getting a new bow, all excited to put it on and BAM...the elastic breaks?? UGH!!!  We test each ponytail holder for immediate breakage before it is attached to a bow.  We literally stretch each one to see if it will break the first time it's stretched.  This process is quite tedious but worth the trouble. But let's face it...it is elastic and by the sheer nature of what it is, there is a high probability of it breaking at some point.  We all just hope it's after you don't want to wear the bow anymore. So within the first 30 days of your purchase, if the elastic breaks, simply return the bow to us, we will fix it at no charge and return it to you.  You pay the postage to us and we will pay the postage back to you.  OK, so what about after 30 days? Just Contact Us and we will work together and figure it out.

Shirt Returns

  • We will gladly accept the return of any items that are not as described within 30 days from the date of purchase. The buyer will be responsible for shipping costs of the returned item(s) and there will be no refund of the shipping charges that the buyer paid at the time of the order.
  • If we have made an error or if the shirt is falling apart, of course we will make it right! We may ask for a picture of the shirt for verification of the issue. More than likely we will just send a new shirt out and not require the "bad" one be returned.
  • All shirts are customized and/or personalized and therefore can not be returned unless the item is not as we agreed upon. 
  • Unfortunately we can not accept any returns for size. Every attempt has been made to provide the information you need to make an informed decision on sizes prior to ordering.
